We are dedicated to creating a more inclusive world by empowering visually impaired individuals through technology, training, and employment opportunities. Our mission is to build confidence, independence, and success for every individual we serve.
to ensure focused, measurable, and high-impact outcomes
For over 26 years, Snehadeep Trust has empowered the visually impaired, supporting 3,000 students and enabling 595 youths to secure corporate jobs. Yet, despite this impact, we still do not have a permanent home and have faced four evictions, forcing our students into temporary classrooms and hostels. Today, more than 1,000 visually impaired children remain on a waiting list simply due to lack of space. With land allotted and plans ready for a 60,000 sq. ft. Centre for Excellence, we now seek support to build a permanent sanctuary. Together, we can create a future that can never be evicted.

Empowering lives through education, employment, and support
We work tirelessly for the education, healthcare, employment and social development of persons with disabilities, with special focus on the visually impaired across Karnataka.
At our Bangalore Centre, we support 52 visually impaired students by providing food, accommodation, medical care, and professional training in computers, English communication, leadership and confidence building. Many students have successfully secured jobs in government, banking, education and private sectors.
Our Ranebennur Centre supports over 100 visually impaired students from rural areas. Along with accommodation and medical care, students receive computer education, communication skills and job-oriented training, creating meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities.
The principal goals of Snehadeep are to provide accommodation, education, training and assistance with personal development to both the visually impaired and physically challenged. In recent years, the organization has grown and now extends its activities to shelter not only those with physical disability but also children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Snehadeep has largely depended on volunteers to carry out its functioning for the past 20 years. We immensely value the contribution of volunteers from different walks of life in bringing about positive changes into the lives of disabled children. We welcome more helping hands!
