Bangalore

At our Bangalore Centre, we have 52 visually impaired Students. We provide them with food, accommodation and medical facilities. The students are given computer training, English communication, leadership qualities, motivation and confidence building courses. We also work toward finding suitable jobs for the students once they complete the course. Many of our students have successfully got job placements in the govt. sector, banking sectors, schools and Private Corporations as well.

Ranebennur

At our Ranebennur Centre, we have over 100 visually impaired Students. We provide them with food, accommodation, medical facilities. We give them Computer Training, English Communication, Leadership qualities, motivation and confidence building courses along with job skills. This is in line with our interest to reach out to the rural areas where such training and education opportunities for the visually impaired students are rare. We are happy to say that our programmes are yielding fantastic results.

About

We believe in changing the way the world looks at the disabled

Snehadeep Trust for the Disabled was established in 1999 by three visually impaired graduates, who had a strong will to empower the disabled with life opportunities, which they had fought so hard for.

The principal goals of Snehadeep are to provide accommodation, education, training and assistance with personal development to both the visually impaired and physically challenged. In recent years, the organization has grown and now extends its activities to shelter not only those with physical disability but also children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Be a volunteer

Snehadeep has largely depended on volunteers to carry out its functioning for the past 20 years. We immensely value the contribution of volunteers from different walks of life in bringing about positive changes into the lives of disabled children. We welcome more helping hands!
